My gear position indicator on the RS crapped out today. Doesn't show neutral half the time and was just plain being funky. Fortunately the bike just turned 50k and I was planning on doing a spline lube so the swing arm will be coming off anyhow. Perfect timing. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Yup... Synchronicity ..
Would be same as getting a flat tyre just before you were going to put a new one on..
Pics of the spline lube steps would be a bonus always good to see..
You must be gettin pretty darned good at it by now...

The only problem is that the write-up would take longer than the spline lube. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

A picture says a thousand words. How about just taking some pics as you go & posting them in sequence.
Better yet upload a U-tube movie.

Right on Sonu
U tube may be the go but sequential pics with minimal write up would be so instructive for us...
Even if you just covered the tricky parts and glossed over the more straightforward procedures....
We would be grateful for generations to come |

Meh, beer ain't gonna cut it for a spline lube. That would take a 1.75 liter bottle of Crown Royal.
I should've had Roy take pics/video last summer when I was putting his K1100LT back together. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
