| I try not to ride at night anymore than necessary but this adaptive system is some kind of invention to say the least. Excellent! |

That's been my whole thought on this, but it is a cool concept. _________________ Steve

Hard to tell. Seems like it could be a fairly simple mechanism. Some sort of inertial sensor and a servo or two. Would probably cost less to fix than a head gasket or a final drive. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

If you've ever ridden twisties at night then you'd realize that it's far from needless. I'd love to have this on my bikes since visibility through turns at night is a limiting, and hence annoying, factor. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

The K12/1300GT is a mess of poor engineering....now replaced with the 1600 with this type of farkel. Hope they designed the bike better this time around. _________________ Mike Gullery

Monday is the last day to pre-order the K1600GT. My BMW dealer is closed Monday so today was their last great push to get non-refundable money for 3 months.
I just got back from Los Angeles where I test rode a 6,000 mile demo model and secured a new K1600GT for May delivery.
The power was enormous, the handling was effortless, the ergonomics were a perfect fit.
I bought the 365 24 7 roadside warranty. When I pick it up in May I'm going to do the 4 corners then the arctic circle. _________________ Communique via Garmin ZUMO 665 via HTC DROID Incredible ADR6300 via The Spoken Word Talk to Text |

You can park it next to your Harley and that bike with a helicopter turbine that you bought from Jay Leno. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

I sold the Harley Davidson and Jay Leno would not sell me the turbine moto. However, I would like to have a Wankel rotary engine moto someday. _________________ Communique via Garmin ZUMO 665 via HTC DROID Incredible ADR6300 via The Spoken Word Talk to Text |

One of those lamps attached to the helmet would do the trick and would be easy to repair. I ride a bicycle, and hike, in the woods at night with a LED headlamp. _________________ The most accurate thing one can say about anything is nothing..........but thats not much help either. |
