| Flew one-way to Philly Wednesday evening to pick up my wife's new ride, A 2009 Yamaha FZ6R. It was a HELL RIDE, 300 miles of cold, followed by 700 miles of driving rain, but I made it home, soaked to the bone, @330 AM. Probably my hardest ride thus far. |

Sean,
YOU da' MAN. Did some REALLY cold rides, but that was when I was in my 20's
So Mrs. Rydor is going for the upgrade, eh? Cool.
Wish Cathy would consider getting her endorsement. But she is a dedicated passenger. That was the second factor that kept me from a K1300S.

Sean,
Compared to your epic journey, I had a much nicer ride home on Jen's ZX6R last fall.
But Mrs. Rydor's new bike looks great.

Rydor,
How loud is that exhaust? I know that there is a muffler element under the engine, but the outlet looks a bit chopped off.
Wait a minute- I just realized who I asked- I think we first heard you a mile or so away as you arrived at HM III
Lemme' rephrase that- is it much louder than stock?

Quite the cool lookin bike. With the proper rider, I'd bet it would smoke the k11 off the line. Power to weight ratio. My brother had a 97 ninga 600 that had only been piped, jetted, and lightened by the intillation of titanium hard ware. Stupid fast! I know he tracked it, when he did it was too fast for him to ride without a special race classed licence and insurance to race the bike. He never persued it further. _________________ Live free and ride hard. 94 K1100RS Brick rider |

| The Yamaha is bone-stock, brand new. Smooth and quiet as a church mouse. I'm pretty sure the only mod she'll get is a higher windscreen. |
