I saw that one. The problem is that there aren't enough pictures to tell what the true cosmetic condition is. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Agreed.
It does look a little rough for only 17K miles. _________________ Ride safe.

I have been lurking on this forum for some time. I have learned much and even tackled a clutch change from encouragement from some friends and the use of this forum.
I bought a spare reardrive unit with brake disk from this seller back in December because of his stated 17k miles.
The brake rotor was worn more than my 68k bike. Had I looked at the sellers other items, I would have seen the instrument cluster from said bike that registered 61k.
I was able to get a partial refund from the guy but he would never admit the mileage was misstated. All the other parts from his bike stated 17k except the instrument cluster.
So I do have a spare rear drive and brake rotor that I hope I never need.
I am liking the LT more all the time.
Have put about 600 miles on it since getting it back together three weeks ago. _________________ 97 K1100LT

Welcome.
Thanks for signing up and shedding some light on this seller.
If somebody on Ebay ever screws you or misrepresents an item then send the item back and hold out for a full refund. Ebay/PayPal almost always rules in favor of the buyer in a dispute. This sucks for sellers when they get a bad buyer but at least when you're buying you can generally have confidence that you're covered. You might be out return shipping but you get most of your money back and hopefully crappy sellers learn their lesson.
And ALWAYS leave bad sellers negative feedback if they deserve it.
Good job on getting your LT on the road again. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
