Does anyone have a good source to recommend for a road kit of bulbs, fuses, CO2 cartridges, etc.. ? What is the spec on the turn signal bulbs, btw and what are good replacements?
my mirror went right back on after snapping off in a minor parking lot spill, but it seems a little loose..and the housing isn' t too tight. Any recommendations for that?
thanks,

Well I can say for the lamps try and find them without the brass barrel, it tends to corrode easier than the silver barrel'd ones.
These would be for the stop/tail and turn indicator lamps. _________________ Ride safe.

I got my K-bike bulb kit from Kahn at EUBMW.com, I think it was like $20. I have long searched for a NOS bulb kit from BMW but they are long unavailable. This one from Kahn is actually more comprehensive anyway. _________________

Jeff - it helps if you put the year and model of your bike in your sig - along with approximate mileage.
If you have an RS, attachment point on the mirror can be replaced.
If you have an LT, and some of the little not so spring steel fingers are broken off you are SOL - you'll have to look for a new or used mirror. Or, if your bike is not pristine, you can drill the mirrors and the fairing and pull a bungie through from one mirror to the other. The LT mirror attachments suck the big German one.
As for bulbs, I use only genuine BMW - had some bad luck with off brand and import bulbs - the BMU did not like them at all. BMW bulbs may cost a little more, but are probably one of the cheapest things to replace on a K. _________________ Jim
