Hi . I saw this item on ebay - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CAR-12-LED-DAYLIGHT-SUPER-WHITE-RUNNING-LIGHT-STRIP-12V-/200592658683?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2eb44110fb . I was wondering if i could plug one of these units into the supply for the little "sidelight" above the headlamp, without causing some sort of fault to appear due to the difference in current drawn? I reckon i can fit it in easily enough( with help from Mr Dremel). Question If any of you folks out there can suggest a suitable alternative, please do.

Current draw at that location should not affect anything.

If you try that light set up, let us know how it works.

As Jim says that will work fine. Just make sure you play some doof doof music when you are riding around.

Would be good to see how well they work.
