Yes, nice red!
May I ask where did you get those handlebar raisers? I've been looking for something like that for a while now... What dimensons do they have? _________________ Carlos

That's what I need also, non-sore wrists for a more confortable ride. 'cl' is CraigsList, right? Never made a buy there, but will definitely check it out. Thanks a lot!
The barbacks should ease the tension on the neck (my first complaint) and the weight on the wrists, which I try to "divide" with the legs. Did you feel a real difference before and after installing the barbacks, Jeeves? _________________ Carlos

It's funny you mention A&S. By coincidence, I went to their website after my last post here. Are the barbacks those that have extra holes for the crash-pad?
I sure agree with you regarding the prices, and read this: to post worldwide, A&S charges $25 (just because?...) plus at least $75, for the smaller package. I find it expensive, to say the least...
Jeeves, as Portuguese, I share with you that same principle of waiting to see, or try the other way around. Today more than ever... So I'll keep being patient, looking, waiting...
But definitelly, the barbacks you have in your K are the best I've seen. Discrete and easy to install. Did you have to make any mod to fit the crash-pad? Or just bolt it? Is there enough space left for the ignition key?
Thanks for the input! _________________ Carlos

Thanks for the input! | karlos,,,bolts right on and key is sorta underneath crashpad,,they are pricey but i will keep my eyes open for you and if i find some for a good price i will grab them and mail via slow boat to china rates and this will be best,, regards David Jeeves _________________ K1100 RS 1993,the fast mystic red one with the burnished gold stuff

Thanks David, I really appreciate your willingness to help. I admit it's easier to spot an opportunity when you know where to look. Many thanks! _________________ Carlos

Karlos, I understand the red ones are the fastest of bunch, so I am sure the Parabellum helps keep the wind blast down. I have one on my slightly slower black and silver SE and it really does the trick - hence my question on how it worked for you. I am 6'2" and only get a bit of wind rush noise on the top of the helmet - but also dependent up on which helmet I wear.
I did not notice the bar backs, but I installed a set of helibars and that made all the difference in the world in taking the weight off my wrists.
One thing, I actually took off my Corbin and went back to the stock seat because it was not as comfortable. The dish for my buns the Corbin had was low enough to scrunch my legs and not allow forward -aft movement. See if you can find something to test sit before dropping the $$$. Of course, if you want an in-need- of-recovering-Corbin to play with, let me know.
