I hope (believe!) you're going to beat this, Phil. You're no stranger to cancer, right? I remember you told me about your wife's fight?...
And just as you posted this topic to inform everybody about your cancer, I know you have the strength and courage to face it. Your positive mind is very important. Best wishes of a full recovery! _________________ Carlos

HOLEE #!!*%$#^^ Phil,
(Sorry I wasn't around for the weekend to return your call.)
You WILL beat this. PERIOD.
All our prayers and thoughts are with you.

Hey, HEY!!!
Don't you even THINK about anything other than the next time we all meet. Just to refresh everyone's memory......
(Klinker's entry)
...Then he was making up the list (and checking it twice- he does kinda' look like Santa)...
THE FOUR STAGES OF LIFE:
1) You believe in Santa Claus.
2) You don't believe in Santa Claus.
3) You are Santa Claus.
4) You look like Santa Claus.

Hi, Sean,
I plan to see all of you again, next year at HM V. Jim has my check and, as tightwad as I am, I want to get my money's worth! However, I'm also a realist and, if worst comes to worst, you'll need to carry on the spaghetti tradition as you have my recipe! _________________ Ride Safe,

First off, Fuck Cancer.
Second, keep your positive attitude. My father is a survivor of this very thing. His started with Barret's Esophogus, and had the full rue-n-y procedure, most of his stomach and a few inches of esophogus removed. That was 14 years ago now. His major issue today is reflux and motility, but he is very happy they caught it in time and were as invasive as they were to kill it all.
I hope your prognosis remains positive and that your doctors can act swiftly and effectively. You might not be the spaghetti-eating fool you once were, but I think we all agree we'd like to keep you around in whatever state you can present yourself. _________________ www.tidewaterforge.com |

Q: Difference between oral and rectal thermometer?
I pray for your strength
The skill of your surgeon
Complete recovery
I don't say much here. People on this site feel as close as family. Admittedly that's pathetic on my part. My bike is most likely the "Velveteen Rabbit" of the lot. Doesn't look like much, has a primer white mirror and some cracked plastic. It runs great thanks to BMW and advice from you all, and it is loved.

Yes Mate,
we all have to face the uncertainty, and of course the certainty that one way or another, in bed or on bike, we face the ol death and all will meet it too!!
Thing is we get the experience we need and when we don't need it anymore then it is over and we are off the hook, so to speak, in the nicest of ways.
My hunch is, that you will be alright, whatever the outcome
All the very very best Phil from downunder oz. |

24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
