Hi guys and girls
Anyone live on the IOM or around Blackpool?
Sue and I will be in England from 31 July till 14 August. Most of the time will be around Blackpool area then of to IOM for 3 days 8 August till 11 August. Unfortunately we will be in a car rather than a bike, but will still go around the circuit just to do it. (Best to wear my best brown undies as I will most likely soil myself as I see some of the track)
Maybe catch up with some of you.
All replies welcome. _________________ Ride safe

Hi Frank,
Are you originally from the Blackpool area ?
I lived in Fleetwood many moons ago.
Now in Joburg.

G'day Malcolm
No, I was born in Austria, but Sue has relations around there and also on the Isle Of Man.
Just seeing if anyone is living around the area for a chinwag and pint maybe. _________________ Ride safe

Blackpool will be megga busy at this time of the year.
Especiily the pubs close to the tourist area's, they arnt shy to rip off tourists.
If you like a real nice place and have some time on yor hands take a tram to Fleetwood. Or drive down the prom, at the very bottom end of town on the prom is the North Euston hotel, its a HUGE sandstone horse shoe shaped building close to both lighthouss. They have a good selection of REAL ale, good food, a magic place.
Otherwise you can go inland a little towards the trough of bowland, lots of nice genuine country pubs out there. There are one or two guys on the BM Bikes forum from the area.

Gee - thanks guys.
Nice to to know that someone still likes me.
Should be good, although the weather must co-operate. _________________ Ride safe
