Confused

Hi Jim...

Just thought I'd ask since neither Brembo, Galfer, or EBC list the K1100 in their selection tables.. I could always go OEM but since the calipers are Brembo, one would think they'd be able to supply replacements ...eh? Will try your suggestion of Spiegler and see what happens... course there's always Ebay right ? THANKS as always for the tip !

Regards........// Ernie

Good morning guys...

The deal that Scott got on Ebay is super for the price, but what is the pad compound.. and Spiegler has exactly what anyone could want, no problem, but my thoughts were that since the OEM calipers are Brembo, top of the line by any standard, why not replace with the same? I have Brembo on my Ford Ranger and they made a remarkable difference when compared to the Ford std issue pads, so why not stick with something you know? However, other than BMW dealer, I couldnt seem to find K1100 listed by anyone including Brembo/US...therefore the question to the forum ! With that in mind, and knowing what a 'stickler' Scott is based on his experience, I've decided to go with the Ebay Pad Set and just do all the pad replacements now at one time and be done with it !

Thanks for all the "tips and leads"...where else could one get such specific wisdom...eh?

Best regards all,,,, Ride Safe..........// Ernie in NH
