Good morning all..
One of our "Airhead forum" members ( Craig in New Mexico ) posted this link to a short video of the Isle of Man TT race.. I was hoping that there might be a source for a longer more complete video ( ie: disc ) of the events there for entertainment and encouragement during our long idle winter months, perhaps one of you might know of one! The race itself is almost beyond belief and those who race appear to have honed their riding skills to near perfection. Their speed and precision is to be envied...

There are lots of video here in the shops of the Isle of Man of race days. However you may like to follow this link of the traveling Marshal at the Manx GP http://www.manxgrandprix.org/
To ride the TT course at race speed you have to be good even if you come last. If you make a mistake or it gets out of hand you pay for it in the ultimate way.

Hi Chris.... ( Thank you... )
Well.... no excuse for being dumb, stupid, or lazy...eh? No sooner did I ask, when I got an instant link to 'everything TT' on discs, both PAL and NTSC.

... it will be very nice when the snow is over the windows and the bikes are safely resting in the barn till Spring, to watch over and over everything TT at 'top speed' from the rider's perspective. I'll bet there's probably an interactive "X-Box" version of this race as well.... now that WOULD be excitement !

Hole-e-crap! I've read about it and played the game on my Playstation2, but I had no idea they really went that fast!
Brings up the "old or bold" riders/pilots/etc. saying, there are not usually old and bold of any. _________________ Steve

By the way if you ever visit the isle of Man with a bike you can ride the Mountain road section as fast as you feel comfortable as there is no speed limit on that part of the course when open to the public.
If you do arrive on the Island come and look me up. There are three road races each year The southern 100 the TT and the Manx GP

Hi all
I was over on the IOM in August and drove the course. What a buzz. The car was a hire car Ford Festiva 1.4TD (shame they are not available in Australia - they get up and go)
When I go back there next time I will try and find a bike to do it on. (Will be wearing my best brown undies though).
BTW, Sue and I really enjoyed the lifestyle there, no rush, laid back and easy. Nobody seemed to be in a hurry there.
Chris - sorry that we didn't get a chance to catch up, I didn't check my computer as often as I would have liked. _________________ Ride safe
