Hi Derek
They could have picked a better weekend (like back in July). It is Bathurst weekend after all.
Will see if I am working on Sunday or not. _________________ Ride safe

Yeah well it was originally then but it got washed out unfortunately, we were limited by when we could get the venue! As for bathurst, ho hum...boring, I'm more upset about missing the OZ vs SA rugby potentially! _________________ K1100RS '97

You jinxed it Derek! It's pissing down here in Ipswich and the forecast is rain for the next few days. Even if the sun comes out on Sunday the grounds will be waterlogged (again). Besides, Italian electrics and wet weather are not good bedfellows.

What an incredible day today! We think we got about 3000+ people to turn up at the bike show, made a bucket of money for the Make a Wish Foundation, it really is QLDs only bike show and has been for decades. Pretty incredible for a club that has just 30 members. We got only 3 disgruntled fuckers, one fight at the Hells Angels tent, man that was funny, the HA put a stop to it faster than Webber can stop an F1 car, and hundreds of people saying it was a blast
Anyway, I'm beering up after a long day of counting money. We had to take a shedload of money to the nightsafe which made me really nervous! The coin bag weighed about 30kg!!

And on the bright side, Holden won at the mountain and Oz won the rugby _________________ David, owner of:

Next weekend will be interesting, 2 test matches between OZ and NZ on Sunday afternoon, one in Rugby League, one in Rugby Union, the former one we will probably win, the later one probably not but wouldn't it be good if we did
Must stock up the beer fridge _________________ K1100RS '97
