Brilliant - I wouldn't send shims or anything damaging like that but think the empty response envelope is a great idea. Anything to help stem the flow of junk mail I get on a daily basis.

I've been doing that for a few years now. sending everything back except that acutal application form(the shredder gets that).
Amazingly enough my Junk mail is down to almost none. It makes no sence, they don't know who its coming back from, but still......

They may know - many mailpieces these days have either IMB or 2D barcodes that can contain mailing/target info. It is so they know return rate based on mailing type and demographic info. I think most of that info it would be on the applic which you shred, but who knows, may be on some of the other pieces as well....

Cool! It helps the US postal service out if we sent those envelopes back through. That's good, because USPS is vital to small towns and needs the money. Smile
