Hi all! So I am FINALLY putting my K bike back together now that I am getting some time... And it seems I forgot to label 3 wires when tearing it apart... and its been 3+ months since I disassembled it. I have a few pictures of the wires, but basically I have 2 little wires with full circle ends on them (I think they go to the starter motor bolts) and the cable that comes off of the same "bundle" of cable that the big grounding plate comes from (mounts to the battery box).
I have a photo here: http://s1090.photobucket.com/albums/i362/Ansobu/?action=view¤t=photo2.jpg
The two little ones on the left come from somewhere near the spark generators. Also, in the following photo, I have a red positve cable coming off of the starter motor lead sticking off to the left: http://s1090.photobucket.com/albums/i362/Ansobu/?action=view¤t=photo3.jpg
Any ideas? I am new to K Bikes, and don't know why I didnt label these! Any and all help is greatly appreciated! _________________ 1993 K1100RS - 90K miles

Hello!
AFAIK - when last time have removed the gear box, starter etc... There should be two wires with O mount bolted either to starter motor or to mount on top of gearbox, which is a bit toward rear, behind coils.

I can't imagine that my '97 LT is too much different, I have 3 wires connected to the starter mounting bolts.
The 2 smaller ones that come from behind the coils are landed on the outboard starter bold and the larger one is landed on the inboard starter bolt. _________________ Ride safe.
