TIV,
Interesting that you are contemplating a USA K bike. My white '92 is a Canadian K100RS. It has a headlight on/off switch and the speedometer/odometer is in kilometers only.
So my brick had 48,000km when I bought it.
Should have NEVER sold my '93 K1100RS..had it in great condition. Long story.

My K75RT, wich came straight from the Fatherland, has the speedometer/odometer in kilometers, and it also has a headlight on/off switch. _________________ Cheers

TIV,
So what is going on with the K1100RS you are looking at? Buying? Not buying?
If not....
I know of an '84 K100RS that I could get for about $2600 (or less?) with less than 18,000 miles. How much to ship it to you?

I am going to take a closer look at the K1100RS. The owner say´s "make me an offer"... I will make him an offer that I think is fair. It is my opinion that this bike needs a complete overhaul from A to Z. We´ll see.
Thanks John for the offer. The problem with importing bikes is not the shipping, it´s the customs fee, taxes and VAT. In short, if I buy a bike in the USA it will have doubled in price when it´s in my hands.
I would however consider it carefully if it was your white K100RS . _________________ Cheers
