I did search the stickies and didn't find it. Previous owner let it sit for 2 years and the front master cylinder is pitted beyond repair. I ordered a new one from beemerboneyard (WoW-almost $200-then again, I guess I'm lucky to still get a new one) and now the only thing keeping the old master cylinder on the bars is the heated grip wireing, so please let me in on the secret. It looks like the grip wires come out to the grip thru some sort of long plug that holds the bar end & this plug is slotted to allow the wires to come thru it. It's not listed in my Clymer either. Thanks, De _________________ '13 FJR Yamaha

| Usually you have to cut it off and replace it. Don't cut into the heating element. |

The heater and grip are removable. Unplug the wires - connect dental floss or something to them to use as a pull string to pull the wires back in. If you are careful, you can get it apart and back together without damaging the heater.
Less than $200.00? I just paid $229.00 - not bad considering the stealer wants $380.00. _________________ Jim
