Just what you need for a State Of Origin night I've just been down to the Samford Pub for a few coldies, Maroon balloons and decorations everywhere, but there are 7 blue balloons there, where I hear you ask? In the the dunnies hahahahaha.
Translations are available of the above are available for the seps later....
We speak a different language here!
Heading back down there on foot in a few minutes, expect stupid posts later, or there are none it means I can't focus well enough to see where the computers are..... _________________ K1100RS '97

Take care if your riding home from the samford , at least you won't see any copper's out that way .
I'd expect your grabbing a decent cheap steak while your at it
Not unusual to see dopey turds in the toilet so i guess it's rather fitting place for the balloons

The pub is only 400 metres away so it's a walking distance, takes 8 minutes there, 35 back. No it's flat all the way but it just seems to be SO much further coming home......and there's that stupid light pole I keep walking into, fuck it hurts....
Feel free to crash here for the night if you want a night on the turps at Samford

Working afternoon shift tuesday - saturday & 3 out of 4 sundays precludes me from having a life essentially , but it does reduce my alcohol consumption ALOT.
As luck would have it , i was granted an RDO today so i plan to watch the game & enjoy a wee dram or 2 of the self medicating variety ....take me drunk i'm home again |

I haven't been able to go near a bundy rum since the 1991 Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht race incident........ The Gladstone Yacht club is a place to be reckoned with......

Or for those who follow the other footy code?
I figure it should also be possible to get eight Pale Ale stubbies in a city case and still have room for ice; mind you, the Pale wouldn't have the kick of the Bundy. I assume the Bundy ginger beer goes in the other case to make the Dark and Stormys _________________ David, owner of:

there's another footy code? I suspect you are referring to gAFL AKA fumbleball or aerial ping pong? Fuck off Rob, this forum is for intelligent people _________________ K1100RS '97

I enjoy the Bundy Black , having found out this week that they are no longer making it ( hence the bulk buy ). I normally enjoy an aged Mount Gay rum
( insert a plethora of jokes....HERE ) which an ex-box bought me for my birthday.
It's a long way from me dear old mammy's cooking rum as a teenager

Setting aside the off colour shirt lifter references involving a brand of dark rum & the #1 patron of my AFL football club ( or gAFL as drikko puts it ) i guess we are talking about our traditional state of origin rugby league series between the 2 eastern states of Queensland & New South Wales .The rest of this thread is just dribble really.
Kick off time gotta goooooo |
