Hello,
I'd like to introduce myself. As I'm new to K bikes. I just brought a
1994 K1100rs. I am the owner of a 74 R90S, 81 R100RS and a 85R80RS.
The thing that made me buy a K bike is the ABS. I like to stop.
The K1100rs I now have has 75,000 on it. I haven't seen it yet as I
brought it on line from a BMW dealer. I live close to Catskill,NY so if anyone
lives close to me drop me a line

Hi welcome!
I'd love to have one of the old R bikes you have, I never got one because:
-I like ABS too
-They are so expensive...
My deam bike would be a R100R (the paralever one) with an ABS unit, I don't see why it couldn't be done, but the R100R are even more expensive, in France I have seen some that were at a higher price than the original price when they were brand new!
The Ks are great, especially the 1100, the look is "questionable", though once you get used to it, you're hooked for ever! _________________ I am not a number, I am a free man.

Hi Bob...
Welcome to K11OG... hope we'll see more of you here and on the asphalt. We have our annual K11 "get-together" in May so you might want to consider riding down to Marion VA for that !! ( see details in the Campfire sticky )
Re: ""I like to stop. ""... as an '76 R100/7 owner, I can really appreciate that !!
Best regards and WELCOME once again.......// Ernie in NH _________________ AMA,, American Deaf Bikers

Bob,
We currently live in northern N.H. but are often over in the Catskills (friends have a vacation home in Cornwallville) and very frequently travel via NYS Thruway to Long Island to visit close friends.
Always like to find a New England K-RS rider.
BTW, WELCOME!!
Maybe an Adirondack ride next year? Routes 23/28/30 are fun.

Bob,
No they are Ron and Lynne. They currently live in northern NJ and use the Cornwallville place for a vacation place.
Cathy and I have enjoyed rides around Lake George and north of there.
Stay in touch for some rides next year.
