Another terrific season has only been over for a few hours and I'm having withdrawal symptoms already.

Season, what is this season of which you speak. I find that there are always some nice days in the winter to get the bikes out and run them around.

John,

Formula 1 Grand Prix season Wink

Bob,

I don't follow F1 but avidly watch MotoGP and WSBK.

Now the LONG drought until racing starts back up.
I do subscribe to "MotoGP" online- I can watch any previous race on demand.

John

I follow MotoGP as well and attend the event each year at Indy (Saturday night downtown Indy is not to be missed).

Unfortunately not so great things are happening within the organization. I heard this is the main reason Casey "retired".

My bikes are ready to ride on any sunny, salt-free day during winter. Well, wind-free and 20F or above days.

I agree- the CRT bikes are poor field-fillers.

The organizers are counting on Marquez to rescue the series, along with the "return" of Rossi.

I am hoping that Ducati can get their act together. Rolling Eyes

The F1 season was great. The result wasn't what I hoped for, but Vettel is a worthy champion.

What’s the difference between an Aussie batsman and a Formula 1 car?

Nothing! If you blink you’ll miss them both. Laughing

Now I have absolutley no clue about what you are talking about. Cricket has always looked interesting. Years and years ago they used to show Australian rules football. That was awesome, I wish we could still get to see that.

Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused

Good morning all... ( especially in OZ )

I'm with John Clauss... I admit to being completely in the dark as to how Cricket is played/scored and wish someone could explain it to us 'dummies' clearly once and for all.! I also enjoyed the Aussie Football and wish we could get more of it here in the USA... Rugby wouldn't be bad either !! Frankly, the intermittent non-continuous nature of American Football, plus the fact that the game is controlled by folks using head-phones and not on the playing field, leaves me boared and disinterested... very much UNLIKE the 'Iron Man' football of the mid 1900's !!

Best regards all... ride safe......// Ernie in NH

Ernie, I hope this helps, It didn't write it, just knew it existed:-

Cricket made simple for Americans ...

There are two sides, one out in the field the other one in. Each man that's in the side that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out. When they are all out, the side that's out comes in and the side that's been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out. Sometimes you get men still in and not out.

When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in. There are two men called umpires who stay out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out. When both sides have been in and all the men have been out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game.
