I recently acquired my K1100 LT (with 50,000 miles on the odo) earlier this year and I finally started working on her. This is my first motorcycle/project and I apologize now to the purists in this forum for hacking up such a well engineered bike. However, I don't think she's anywhere being finished! I have plans to transform the bike into a cafe racer. I also understand that cafe racers are meant to be minimalist in design but if the ABS continues to work smoothly, then why remove it.

So far I have:
T.B.R. clip ons
Ohlins 46DRS 24mm shorter than the BM420. I'm 5'6" with a 29" inseam
(needs to be sent to Ohlins to be calibrated to k1100 spec)
SV650 headlight
Odyssey PC680MJ

Well, I sold her. Here she is complete!!!! Enjoy.. This was a fun build for me and I'm glad the person that bought her from me completed her the way I envisioned.
