Hello!

BMW oem Repair Manual for K1100 can be downloaded for free as PDF file form the Internet. I have found an error in the text. On page 46.22 (324) - Removing and installing frame, one can read:
Quote:
Fit a 1 mm thick spacer ring, inner
support ring at the front right between the cylinder
head and frame strut.

Well, engine head is on left hand side, more over BMW Service Bulletin says:
to use 1 mm spacer on right front between the crankcase and frame strut. The the common remark for both documents: shim front left mounting.
These are my findings.
