While some of you have met Cathy, my wife and our daughter, Jen- our son, John (Ducati rider) has been busy at college and more recently with the career path he has chosen.
Yesterday Cathy, her Dad from Florida, her sister from Vermont plus some friends were honored to attend John's graduation from the New Hampshire Police Academy. He was one of the top 5 academically out of a class of 48.
In this picture, from the left: Sargent and Chief of Sugar Hill, our son and the Chief of Whitefield, N.H. where John will be patrolling.
In one year's time, John has changed into a very strong(!) and confident young man with a career and goals.
We are SO PROUD of him. _________________ John & Cathy

Thanks guys.
Rich, it feels unreal to us. It was a long haul for us too- constantly worrying about how he was getting on there. The N.H. Academy is run boot camp, paramilitary style with LOTS of in-your-face screaming- building respect and character.
Looks like it works very well........
Best of luck to your son.

Congratulations, John.
You can definitely be proud. You and Cathy have raised a fine man.
I am apparently 4 years behind you. My son just finished his first semester, pursuing his criminal justice degree. _________________ '02 - GL1800

Thanks Whyoldbill,
It was a very difficult year. But John has a long life and a great career in front of him. He has changed 180°.
He has entered a very tight and close community- law enforcement.
We wish them all the best of luck.

Hi John and family...
What a real accomplishment by John, and a super job
by you as parents! I have been away most of
this winter working horses with my son that
I am very proud of, so I know you and Cathy
must still be beaming from ear to ear with
pride!
Congratulations to all of you...I just
hope he doesn't catch me on a "rocket ride" !!!
All the best in 2014......everyone!

Thanks Ernie.
I would hope that as a Ducati rider himself, John will be giving MC folk a bit of a break. _________________ John & Cathy

Congratulations, John! And congrats to the graduate as well.
That is an awesome accomplishment, and you are rightly proud. Hopefully if I ever meet the gentleman, it won't be on the side of the road under flashing blue lights.

The fuck is that silver-maned tall bastid looming in the background. Holy shit time for some Grecian, John!
Hey, don't feel bad if I don't dye my hair/goatee I look like a fucking silverback Gorilla.
Congrats to your son, however in your family of chronic overachievers, his acceptance/passing was a bit of a foregone conclusion. (at least to those of us who know you guys)
Hello to Cathy and keep being awesome, John.
