Could anyone tell if a 1992 fuel tank will fit a 1995 model? If not I just bought the wrong tank! _________________ 1995 K1100 LT |

Thanks, the reason I am asking is the inside is different. So the next question is will the parts from the 95 tank fit the 92 tank? as I bought the 92 tank with no other parts. _________________ 1995 K1100 LT |

One of the good sites that I use for my bike and to answer questions like yours is Max BMW M/C .
The top left you will see Fiche and for your bike input your Vin number and save the setting.
As you will get to know this site is the best. _________________ Yamaha TX650A

How is the inside different? Extra pipe in there coming down behind the gas cap? _________________ 93 LT (x2)

The 93 and earlier bikes had the older, wider fuel pump and there was a hose that went from the screen on the bottom of the fuel pump to that pipe which I've heard was to help reduce cavitation.
The newer fuel pumps don't have that so you can just ignore it.
Baffles? Can you post a picture? _________________ 93 LT (x2)
