On this from number 6...
Fair enough, though I really don't think the engine needs that, doesn't even need synth oil, they don't wear out, the valves are kind of the "weak point" though they can last several 100K miles.
I believe this may be reason to try it in the engine....
From Ernie...
I introduced the WS2 to both my K1100 engine and transmission with great results... mileage went up to between 52 and 54 mpg,
Unless of course your mileage is already that good, in that case, don't change a thing! _________________ 1993 K1100RS that I'd rather be riding FAST!

Good morning all.....
Well... "jpb.." is correct, IF you've already got good/great mileage, don't bother,, but in my case I never had mileage better than 48 to 50 mpg,, so to me at least getting to the mid-fifties was a quantum leap !
BTW... the lubricant suppliers ALL guard their "additive package formulations" better than Brinks guards their trucks... Since "they" will not give anyone a sample of the Additive alone, one can do a spectrographic analysis on the oil itself and as "sure as butter goes on toast" you will see the Tungsten spike on any sample of the premium oils....this is most likely the nano version of the WS2, which as RAL says, does not settle out.
Have fun all,, ride safe,,.....// Ernie in NH _________________ AMA,, American Deaf Bikers

Gidday Folks.
WS2 arrived in the post today and it looks very interesting indeed, so very fine when holding the packet.
Now for some questions:
Best way to store once packet opened?
Best way to mix the two together, to what consistence and for how long?
Best way to measure out amounts and can one be a little less fussy with this stuff or is accuracy the name of the game?
The install will happen over the weekend Thanks _________________ Cheers Grant

Gidday Folks,
I found myself an old electric food blender today, mixed up the oil and WS2 together for sometime then poured it into the gearbox and diff.
Time will now tell, _________________ Cheers Grant

Hello Grant...
This compound is not hydroscopic so it needs no special way to store it. However, you do not want to contaminate it: ie: sawdust, oatmeal, yesterdays sandwich...etc..
I used a old Waring Blender, the type used to make ice cream frappes... and mixed 4 Tablespoons to 1 pint of oil. Then poured the mix into my engine, and finished by toping with Mobil 1, 50W. Same procedure for the tranny and F/D...
Good luck and let us know how you made out....// Ernie in NH _________________ AMA,, American Deaf Bikers

Gidday Ernie.
Many thanks for the reply..
Excess now stored away in an airtight container for future use, and it certainly is slippery on the fingers to touch, very smooth _________________ Cheers Grant

Sorry, have to ask, why do you think it will be suspended in the oil if you don't ride the bike for a week? The fact that you need to mix it up in blenders etc means to me that it will spend its live at the bottom of the housing. _________________ Cheers, Rene
