Hi all,
My 93 LT had a bit of a funny the other day. Cruising on a 30 mile trip, after ten or so miles the speedo gradually dropped to 20mph below actual speed, as recorded by my sat nav.

I stopped for fuel and it remained low but then recovered gradually over the next 10 miles.

UFO interference, or a more earthly issue?

Any idea if the odometer matched the GPS or mile markers? If the odometer matched but it read low, might of been sticking. Seems the face can warp and catch or hang the needle in place. My tach is acting up, if you turn the bike off the tach needle will still show 2k, until you tap on the face then it drops. I'm thinking of taking mine apart again to see if I can re-glue the face down, or at least increase the hole size so it doesn't rub.
