Gidday,

With the spline lube done last weekend and while the rear end of the bike was removed, I sent the exhaust off to the local metal polishers in town, he dropped it back tonight minus the 20 years of crap and tarnish that had built up on it over its 155,000km. NICE!!

That looks nice, what I don't get is here in Aus the exhaust is one piece from header to muffler, I've seen Staintune mufflers also, but when I look at the parts fiche it shows it as one unit, are yours aftermarket?

I've never seen a stock exhaust that isn't a one piece with the headers and can.

Gidday,

Original system and I doubt it had been off the bike before, the header bolts came out rather tight and I took it slowly but two of the studs came out of the block which is no big deal.
All will be given a very good clean plus this time copper anti seize applied when re-installing which will help for future removals..
