|
|
I'm looking to try a set of K1100lt bars on my RS and I'd just love to find someone who has the whole assembly, rather than buying each part separately. I know I'll need bars, cover, clutch/throttle cables, not sure what else. Prefer setup with heated grip bars, but that's not essential.
Thanks,

I think your best(fastest) bet would to contact breaker yards.....

Yes, my thought too. But I thought it was worthwhile asking here first. You never know what someone might have kicking around in their garage.
Hey - I've got a nice Corbin seat I'd trade....

I have most of the parts you need but my initial impression is this will not work because the LT handlebars will hit the fairing. C bars might be a better option. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

That's what I thought, but then I stumbled across some pics of it done, here on the forum. Now, of course, I can't find the link. I may have found a guy in PA with all the parts, but he can't check until next week. I've already got the handlebars on their way.
Oh - I already have C bars, and they work great for a normal rs. But on my leaning sidecar I need a little more leverage when riding with the whole family - its a handful at parking lot speeds.

Here's a link to photos of a RS with LT bars:

Scroll towards the bottom and there are a few pics of a red one. Not as ugly as I thought it would be.

Sam,
You shouldn't ugly up that nice RS like that!
Just sell me that sidecar, we'll both be happier
just offering up options... _________________ '02 - GL1800
