I have a new Bridgestone rear on the way and I'm in a new area with no relationship to a local shop. Any recs? Thanks. - Blake

I thought I'd bump this one up there. I used a local Honda lawnmower shop for this tire a year ago and didn't feel good about it. Now I've got new front rubber and sure would appreciate a recommendation for a decent shop around here. There's a BMW shop in Fairport up near Rochester but that's two hours away. Thanks! - Blake

Hi Blake - I guess you're the only one in Binghamton...
I'm sure if anyone here had experience with a shop in your area, they would have let you know by now.
I did a search too - there are a number of bike shops in the area - I'd start calling. Some shops don't like to mount tires they didn't sell... Looks like there are about 7 shops within 20 or so minutes of you.

+1 on that.
Some also don't like to mount aluminum rims. I have a local independent shop will only mount steel rims.
So I mount them myself.
