Ive got a K1100 lt and have been looking into wheel changes for the RS wheels, seems easy enough. during the research I noticed that the K bikes have 18 front and 17 rears and the R bikes have 18 rear and 17 front. Has anyone tried the R wheels on a K bike, if so, what happened?? _________________ Just got my first BMW motorbike 25/01/17, its a K1100lt, scratched and tatty but just right for me. hoping to build a flat track, cafe racer, brat hybrid thing. |

The K1100LT has the 18" front and 17" rear.
The K1100RS has the 17"front and 18" rear.

Most folks just find a rear wheel from an RS and fit that, although they are not always easy to find. _________________ '02 - GL1800

| The R wheels have the disc carrier mounted on the wheels spokes. |
