Hi guys, help me out please:

When I'm running in low revs, and I twist the throttle, there's a noise coming from the engine. I can't figure out if it's just the clutch, of if it's misadjusted valves, or even the chain.

There is no noise if I do it in neutral. It is very noticeable for instance in 3rd going uphill. There's some vibration that comes with it.

I don't own my k11 for long, and I've never ridden another. Maybe it's perfectly normal...

Thanks

When you say 'low rev's', How low?

These bike don't really like to be lugged down. The power band sweet spot is around 4500 rpm so don't be afraid to drop down a gear and wind it up a bit.

I burned a couple of valves from lugging it in low revs too much.

How low are the revs when you hear this?

It might just be that you are "lugging" the engine and need to drop down 1 gear.

Mine started making that noise at about 80,000 miles. It now has 167,000, and still makes that noise.
