I got myself a nice 3D printer and one of the projects I want to do is design a model for a better (read: not for Germans with tiny feet) shifter for my K1100LT. To do that I need a shifter I can scan so I can play with different design possibilities. I also want to see if I can actually use a 3D printed shifter as a replacement part.
So, anyone got an extra shifter lying around I can borrow for a bit just to create the model? I'll pay for postage.
