Welcome to the K1100
Owners Group home page! This site is dedicated to BMW's K11-series of
motorcycles, the K1100RS and K1100LT.
So, what exactly
is the K11OG? Well, it actually started as a private joke when four
close friends all bought K11's in the space of a week, all without
making any mention to any of the others. Ted Verrill started gathering
K11 info, and at the urging of K11OG members 2, 3 & 4, he put
the info online and in 1998 the K11OG was born. Karl Rosenbaum took
over hosting the K11OG for several years until Karl and Ted decided
the K11OG needed a permanent home on the web.
The K11OG serves as
a clearinghouse for all things K11, and has the most active K11 message
area on the web. Stop in, look around, stay awhile :)
