If I was to leave the Mystic side, that would be my color. Deep metallic white. Nice choice. _________________ Scott Hespelt, '94 K11LT

Great job!
I am desiring to redo the snowflake wheels on a R80 I just picked up. What process did you use for your wheels? They look great, just what I am after...

Thanks for the positive responses. The wheels were finished using standard auto body routine......sand, sand sand. Then primed, painted and cleared. I might have gone the powdercoat route.....next time
The panels did have some road rash, so they too were given some body work. I have before and after pics....for wheels too if anyone is interested.

i'd be interested in the before pics of the body panels. i ask because my top fairing's right pylon/bar is a little out from the left so it needs to be bent/formed back into alignment. didn't know if you had to have that done, or if it is even possible. i'm thinking it probably is -- just gotta heat it up enough most likely. _________________ (formerly) 1993 k1100rs |

The main fairing piece is made from something like fiberglass. Conventional body repairs will work fine on it. DO NOT heat and bend...it is not plastic! I looked for photos, but I did not do any real body work to that piece, just sanded....
