I had a brake fluid leak last JUne which landed onto my final drive box of my KLT and whilst it has not made the paintwork blister it has left a noticeable stain on the silver coating. I had not noticed it until now.
Does anyone know of a way to remove this without damaging the painted surface. _________________ 1997 K1100LT

I have a similar problem - grass stain on my rear drive which is powder coated silver. Maybe the same solution might work for both issues? _________________ 93 K1100RS (2up)

Have you tried white rubbing compound? Go easy on it and see if it will get the stain off. Start with a clean cloth and a little compound and using finger pressure go easy on it. _________________ 2014 R1200RT Water Cooled
